A longtime educator and Reiki Master Teacher, Nancy brings decades of wisdom, heart, and grounded leadership to Shadybrook. She supports others in reconnecting with their energy, purpose, and power to create change.
Laura Christian Imbornoni
Yoga Teacher, Facilitator,
& Board Vice Chair
Laura leads yoga classes and expressive movement workshops. Laura is an RYT-500 Yoga Alliance registered instructor. She is also an Integrative Yoga Therapist and a Somatic Expressive Movement Therapist.
Sarah Widener

Sarah brings over 15 years of experience in values-driven nonprofit work and a passion for weaving strategy with spirit. At Shadybrook, she helps shape a vision rooted in transformation, healing, and community connection. She believes business can be a spiritual practice — and that good leadership listens deeply.
Alsie Clay
Teaching Artist, Kinetic Energy Worker & Board Trustee
Alsie Clay is a certified Teaching Artist. She owns "Artisan's Treasure, Studio of Exquisite Designs, Jewelry, and Healing Through the Creative Arts, Symposia" at The Shore Cultural Centre, Euclid. She creates multimedia artwork, and conducts classes and community level art experiences.
Denise O’Donnell
Reiki Master & Board Trustee
Denise is proud of being a nurse for the past 50 years. Always interested in exploring the spiritual side of life, Denise began her journey with Reiki while attending Ursuline College. Since becoming a Reiki Master, she shares her talents as a volunteer at the Kin Support and Wellness Center, providing services to cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers.
Sharon Vrettas
Astrologer, Facilitator,
Reiki Master, & Board Trustee
Sharon has had a life-long interest in metaphysics and healing. This calling has inspired her to pursue study in many areas including Reiki, Astrology, Metaphysics, A Course in Miracles (ACIM), and more. Sharon believes that we humans are experiencing a major shift in consciousness and owe it to ourselves and others to allow and embrace the profound transformation we are called to embody.
Valerie Behrens
Facilitator & Board Trustee
Valerie is an avid reader, driven by curiosity, and has delved deeply into many topics including minimalism, self-help, neurodivergence and all things metaphysical. She has an undergraduate degree in economics and business, and a master’s degree in Information Science. Valerie also shares workshops on the power of decluttering.
Steve Imbornoni
Psychologist
& Board Trustee Emeritus
Steve is a licensed psychologist. In his career he was a supervising clinical counselor, and a massage therapist. He served on the Board of Trustees for many years, taking on various leadership roles including Board Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.
