Meet Sarah
Sarah has spent over 15 years working in the nonprofit world on small teams with big visions. She currently serves as Executive Director of Shadybrook, where her days range from answering phones to shaping strategy with the Board.
Before arriving at Shadybrook, Sarah spent more than a decade at River’s Edge Spirituality and Wellness Center, where she served as Executive Director and, earlier, as Program Manager. There, she hosted thought-leaders like Jan Phillips, James Finley, and Gregg Braden for inspiring events, and helped build and support a strong community of practice made up of local holistic practitioners — all committed to making healing work more accessible, meaningful, and sustainable.
Sarah is known for her ability to listen deeply, make meaning from complexity, and guide teams in turning bold visions into grounded, practical realities. She approaches business as a spiritual practice — drawing strength from Spirit-led vision, meditation, Reiki, strategic thinking, and the wisdom of community. A lifelong writer and fiber artist, she finds joy in weaving words, yarn, and ideas into something whole.
Moving out of winter and into spring, is quite volatile. The drastic up and down temperatures, the thawing and freezing, and the not-so-natural but equally disruptive time change can wreak havoc on us! Ayurveda helps us understand why this can create dis-ease in our bodies and what we can do about it.
