COVID-19 Guidelines

Shadybrook follows CDC recommendations with the desire to ensure the health and safety of our members and friends.

The CDC currently recommends that masks be optional for counties in low to moderate risk categories.

For in-person programs and events at Shadybrook:

Face coverings are optional.
Gain consent before touching or hugging others.
Be mindful of the safety of the whole community.
Refrain from coming to Shadybrook programs and events if you are not feeling well and/or have been exposed to COVID 19.

Shadybrook’s intention is to comply with the policies set forth by the CDC and the Ohio Department of Health, and we will update as changes occur.

COVID-19 Waiver

By registering for and/or attending a Shadybrook program you agree to the following COVID-19 Waiver:

Participant agrees to stay home from Shadybrook, Inc. if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, including but not limited to: fever, dry cough, or shortness of breath. If participant or someone they have been in close contact with has experienced symptoms of COVID-19, participant will follow all CDC, state and federal regulations regarding quarantine and testing before returning to in-person events.

Liability Waiver

Please participate in Shadybrook activities in a way that honors your own unique mind, body, and spirit, and follows the guidance of your healthcare professionals.

By registering for and/or attending a Shadybrook program you agree to the following Liability Waiver:

The participant agrees that all activities with Shadybrook, Inc. are undertaken by the participant at the sole risk of the participant, and that neither Shadybrook, Inc., nor the staff/instructor(s) shall be liable for any claims for injuries or damages to person or property of the participant arising out of, or connected with Shadybrook, Inc. Participant agrees to indemnify and to hold Shadybrook, Inc, and its staff/instructor(s) harmless from all claims by, or liability to, participant.

Program Courtesy

We want to make sure that every guest has the best experience possible, including you.

Please support your fellow participants by honoring the following program courtesy guidelines.

Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the program start time.
Avoid late arrivals and early departures to minimize disruptions to the experience.
When you arrive, sign in and get situated so the presenter can start on time.
If you accidentally arrive late, enter the room and find your seat quietly.
If you must leave early, notify the instructor before the program begins.
Silence your phone and other devices before arrival.

Pre-Registration

Pre-registration is requested for all programs due to limited class sizes.
Shadybrook requests 24-hours notice of registration for all programs, workshops and events.

Waitlist

If a class is full you may add yourself to the waitlist by emailing our office at shadybrookinc@gmail.com.
If a spot opens, the first name on the waitlist will be contacted and given the opportunity to register.

Cancellation & Refunds

If you must cancel your registration, please notify us by email at shadybrookinc@gmail.com as soon as possible.
7 DAYS PRIOR - A full refund will be issued for cancelations submitted at least 7 days prior to the program.
24-48 HOURS PRIOR - A program credit will be issued for all cancellations submitted 24-48 hours in advance of the program.
WITHIN 24 HOURS- We are unable to refund or credit the canceled registration.
In the event that Shadybrook cancels a program, a full refund will be issued.
Please note that special cancelation policies may be required for certain events and will be noted.
Cancellation notifications will be sent by email. Please keep an eye on your email prior to programs, particularly during adverse weather.

Photo Release

A picture is worth 1,000 words! Taking pictures at our events allows us to share our work with the community.

By registering for and/or attending a Shadybrook program you agree to the following Photo Release:

I authorize Shadybrook, Inc. to use, reproduce and/or publish photo and/or video that may pertain to me without compensation. I understand this material may also appear on Shadybrook, Inc.’s web page and may be used in various publications, releases, advertising, and promotional materials. This authorization is continuous and can be withdrawn by specific authorization.
