Day of the Dead Party

A vibrantly decorated sugar skull surrounded by pink flowers on a brightly-colored background.

Monday, October 19

Time: 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Location: Shadybrook

This season, many of us turn to costumes and candy—but in Mexican culture, it is also Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead.

This beautiful tradition invites us to gather, remember, and honor loved ones who have passed.

Join us for a Day of the Dead Party filled with:

  • A community ofrenda (altar)—bring a photo of your loved ones

  • Photo spot

  • Optional activities including paper flower making and adult coloring pages

  • Light refreshments including delicious Mexican Candy

The community ofrenda will make its home in the public hall outside Shadybrook Room #111 from October 19 - November 2 for all who’d like a space to honor their loved ones. Bring a photo or object to honor your loved ones. Non-valuable items are recommended.

Investment: FREE

Come celebrate, connect, and remember—because the veil is thin, and love lives on.

Invite your friends! Please let us know you’re coming so we have enough supplies for everyone!
