Mark the turning of the seasons with community, reflection, and ceremony.
Join us in the beauty of Sunnybrook Preserve as we honor the Autumn Equinox
and welcome the balance of light and dark.

Your Evening Includes:

  • 5:00-6:30 p.m. — Optional Members’ Potluck
    Shadybrook Members are invited to share food in community before the evening ceremony begins.

    Open to the Public

  • 7:00-8:30 p.m. — Autumn Equinox Ceremony
    Please arrive by 6:45 p.m. Ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.
    Immerse yourself in the energies of Autumn as you deepen your relationship to each other and the land that holds us using the tools of reflection, drumming and ceremony.

  • 8:30 p.m. — Cider around the fire
    Enjoy hot apple cider around the fire as the evening closes.

  • Time to slow down and connect with the rhythms of nature in community

  • Reflection on the energies, elements, and Nature wisdom of Autumn

  • Attunement to the coming energies of Autumn

Certified Forest Bathing Guide & Interfaith Minister

Mary Alice’s professional life began in the fields of music and teaching before moving on to careers in horticulture, including her own garden design and maintenance business outside of Cleveland, OH. Through it all, she felt an interest in healing in the broadest sense and a deepening personal spirituality. Later, she pursued certifications in Reiki, Flower Essences, Nature and Forest Therapy, and ordination as an inter-faith minister.  Through it all, Nature has been her cherished and trusted partner, guiding her through her personal evolution.
