Reiki Self Practice - ONLINE

A Reiki Self Practice Gathering - Weekly Program

Thursdays, 3 - 4 pm

Instructor: Nancy Herrick, RMT

While donations are appreciated, participation in "Reiki Self Practice" is free.

This is an invitation to practice Reiki on yourself, for yourself,  within a community of Reiki practitioners. At a time when there is so much we want to do for others, we often forget to give the same care to ourselves. Give yourself the gift of Reiki. Reiki promotes balance within.  It strengthens our inner core, and leads us back to center. Let the benefits of a Reiki Self practice help you thrive during the days and weeks forward.

A Deeper Look at the Reiki Symbols: The Power Symbol

Nancy Herrick | Tuesday, April 7 | 6:30 – 8:30 pm | $30 / $35

Ticket Options

With Reiki, as in any discipline, the more knowledge you obtain about what you do and experience, the deeper the connection to your practice becomes.

In the system of Reiki, three traditional Reiki symbols and their energies are introduced to students in the second-degree level of Reiki. It is only when we have begun to feel and differentiate between certain aspects of the 'energy' that the symbols truly come into their own.

This class explores the inner significance and empowering role of the symbols in relation to the Japanese spiritual tradition of Reiki. The name, mantra, or Jumon of the Power Symbol and the frequency of energies it represents will be examined. The student will learn and practice a meditation exercise with the symbol, along with various techniques unique to the symbol to encourage specific healing for self and others.

Prerequisite: Reiki Level ll Training completed. Contact Nancy at reikicenter.wr@gmail.com with any additional questions regarding this class.

Augment your Reiki Perception: Learn to Recognize the Byosen

Ticket Options

Nancy Herrick | Friday, June 5 | 10 – 1 pm | $35 / $40

Byosen is the frequency of energy emitted from a tense, injured or ill body part when the blood and lymph vessels are blocked due to the accumulation of toxins. It is also the reaction of the body to the coming Reiki energy.

In the Japanese tradition of Reiki, students were taught the importance of learning to feel the sensations of the body associated with byosen and encouraged to practice until they could feel byosen with confidence.

In this workshop participants will learn to recognize the areas of the body where byosen accumulates, to identify the various levels of byosen, and how to apply Reiki to these areas to re-establish harmony in the system.

Additional techniques for perception training will increase the sensitivity in their Reiki hands which will help them identify the areas of byosen during a treatment and ultimately increase the potential for healing.

Participants, please bring a journal for notes.  Registration deadline is June 1st. Please contact Nancy at reikicenter.wr@gmail.com with any questions regarding this program.
