Join Julie Konrad, from Cleveland Ayurveda, for an introduction to this ancient practice of living in balance with nature. You’ll learn how to determine your individual constitution and learn why this information is so vital to your approach to self-care. You will then be guided through some mind/body exercises to round out our evening together.
About the Presenter: Julie Konrad is a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor through the Himalayan Institute and a veteran yoga instructor. Through sharing the wisdom of Ayurveda she is able to help individuals to set solid sleep, self-care, diet, meditation and exercise routines that strengthen the body, mind and spirit and allow the body’s own natural healing mechanisms to work. Julie has been a speaker at the Rheumatology Nurses Society, The Cleveland Clinic, Trinity Church, Rotary Clubs and schools around the area. She has taught yoga with The Cleveland Indians, The Lake Erie Captains, Case Western Reserve Medical School and she has been the resident yoga instructor for The Cleveland Racquet Club for over a decade. You can find Julie this summer teaching free outdoor yoga, meditation and mindfulness classes in the City of Beachwood Park.
