Corona Coasters- Meditation and Guided Imagery Stress Release Group
Facilitator: Barbara L. Austin, EdD, BCH, CCHt, CSMC
Sundays | 4:30 – 5:30 pm ET| Online Event | Donations appreciated
We made it through 2020. What a roller coaster year that was. This new year still presents emotional challenges that might well affect our health. Stress and anxiety can weaken our physical, emotional and spiritual health and attack our immune systems. Stress is so sneaky. Without knowing why, our bodies may manifest the negative impact of stress.
Whatever it is that we’re taking care of: a loved one, changes to work conditions, children adjusting to their new school situations, the first rule of caregiving is Take Care of Yourself.
Take this one-hour journey into a stress-free opportunity to relax, release those tensions we’re holding in our bodies and the worry of what’s next on this crazy roller coaster.
Learn new coping skills such as focused breathing, meditation, stress-relieving techniques, guided imagery, and relaxation methods.
