Led in alternating weeks by our facilitators, learn about the great benefits of mindfulness meditation as a way to improve physical well-being and emotional health. There is no "right way" to meditate. Educators, spiritual leaders, and mental health experts have developed dozens of forms of meditation. How do you know which one is the best for you? Explore various meditation techniques, methods, approaches allowing you to begin, or enhance, your own mindfulness practice. Choose a single approach or a blend of several to incorporate mindfulness at work, home and school to live a less stressful life. Attend as many as you’d like!Classes continue in May and June.
Suggested materials: Some sessions will include movement postures. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring firm cushions or folded blankets – chairs are available for those unable to sit comfortably on the floor. Anyone with physical restrictions will be accommodated.
